This is my latest DM map :)

It uses only hl1 vanilla content and is industrial-acid themed.

The map has 26 info_player_deathmatches but is best designed for 6-12 players :)

Also the map was designed in 20 hours out of my crazy mind with the goal to create a fast, open, crazy and multifloor styled map were no one can dominate this easy :D

Also I added a moving energyball of pure awesomeness because I can and no one else ever did in Half-Life 1 :D

I wish there's a helicopter model at center point of helicopter area. But that's cool too :D

And how did you do that big sphere of lazers? Is it env_beam with flag?

52 env_beams with ring flag + 12 func_trains ^_^ and some math :P

Yeah a Helicopter Model was planed to be added. I will do that for the Final version :) if there is anything else that needs a fix or could be done better just mention it here and I will change it ^^

I liked it. Very pleasing atmosphere. Some of the visuals were epic like the room with the two curved ramps from the crossbow platform for example. Vertical relief is used heavily which is really nice.

Some minor criticism would be that some things felt a little clunky/ bland. I believe it is due to the scale and the textures used like that god awful neon slime. I just feel like there's plenty of resources online not to mention that you are great at making textures to use better ones. Another thing I noticed is that the textures used reminded me of a map called torture that I submitted a long time ago. It was cool to see someone else use the orange walls paired with concrete, blood and bright lights.

Besides my small criticisms, this map is a small gem and has some really cool areas to take in. I can imagine it making for some awesome gameplay.

Oh, and that ball, well now it's interesting to see you put such a cool design tucked and hidden away. I likes! Very half life!

Oh yea, and maybe change the direction of the conveyor belt and allow it to push the player to help boost through that area.

20 hours only? well I might consider you being a superb master of dem hl mapping, everyone knows that anyways... ;D Enjoyed the atmosphere of the map. The sphere - looks super cool, can you tell what were you thinking when you made it, what's the idea in the context of the map? P.S. Downloaded a map from twhl after like 1 year break... Feeling a bit nostalgic to this game, eh good old memories. :) Definitely going to check the final version of this.
